Abraham-Hicks, San Francisco, 2/27/05 - Copyright - Abraham-Hicks:

"We are all making too much of this! Life is supposed to be fun. The basis of your life is freedom and expansion is inevitable.

You are utterly worthy beings.

And if you could relax,
And pet your cat,
And dangle your feet in the stream,
And spend time with the people that make you feel best,
Read the books that make you feel best,
Go to the movies that make you feel best,
Take the drives that make you feel best,
Think of the aspects of those you work with that make you feel best,
Make lists of things that you like that make you feel best,
Think of your parents in a way that makes you feel best,
Wear the clothing that makes you feel best,
Eat the food that makes you feel best,
Do the things that make you feel best,
Think the thoughts that make you feel best,
Hmmm, then you'd feel pretty good!

Life would then begin treating you in the way that you deserve.

But when you believe that you are here to overcome struggle,
And when you believe that you have things you have to achieve,
when you believe that you have to "earn" worthy and you have to prove worthiness,
when you believe that you are in competition for resources.

THEN you get distorted and out of synch with who you really are.

And we know that many of you have been taught many of those things. We feel
you and we hear you struggling to try and find your way in all of this.

But we promise you that life is supposed to be fun.

You are worthy without paying any price.

And if you can relax just a little bit,
and lighten up just a little bit,
and bring more humor into your experience,
be more playful with more others,
let things bother you a little less,
and be easier about all things.

And say things to those who surround you, especially your children and
especially your lovers and partners, say things such as: "No big deal!"

Say things like:

"Well, isn't that a heck of a thing!"
"What a funny deal that is."
"Why in the world am I making such a big hairy deal about something that doesn't mean diddly squat????"

In other words, play down the drama and the trauma of everything where you can.

Don't join those groups that want to make more of things than they are.
Don't join those groups that have got the spotlight shining on the sewer in Paris.

Find the best from where you stand and exaggerate it as much as you can from
where you are, and notice that things will get discernibly better right away.

And then do it again.
And then do it again.
And then do it again.
And then do it again.
And then do it again.
And then do it again.
And then do it again.
And then do it again."
